3rd rate Starbucks
If you want the great old Coffee People drinks, go to Jim and Patty's. Or try Stumptown, a real Portland original. These days Coffee People is a 3rd rate Starbucks with rude baristas who don't know the difference between a latte and a cappuccino. A real shame.
Now This is the Place
Ok, so the coffee's enjoyable. There are very few places in our corporate society anymore where the customer is truly made to feel welcome. Everytime I visit this Coffee People the staff is always friendly and courteous but not superficially so.\t\n\t\nMy only complaint is that they're not open 24/7 like that other place across the street from them.\t\n\t\nSpecial mention to Becky, Lisa, Mac and Aja...
