Clarksville Retirement Center

This facility was once a very nice center. It has, in recent years, been a race to the bottom. The facility is overpopulated, understaffed, and lacks professional management. For whatever reason they seem to hire the least qualified, least professional staff possible. Upon entry you have to wander from person to person inquiring who works there because there is no uniform or name tag or identifying article. The last time I was there I finally found an employee (who seemed to be in charge that shift) and instead of a "hello, may I help you," blurted, "who are you?" I told her who I was and she walked away. I decided to follow after a bit and she was waiting for me down the hall with no instruction. The visit didn't get any better. The facility is understaffed and filthy. The clients are allowed to congregate in the doorway while smoking so the whole facility wreaks of cigarettes. It's awful. One night their supper was a hot dog wrapped in bacon and a bag of chips. They should be closed.

All these people want is your money they do not take care of any one in there care and they will put your loved one at risk. And I can prove that this happens all the time there be couse I lived there before and have seen it for myself.
