My wife was $30K in the hole when I married her, although she didn't tell me about it. She went to C&W to see about getting her debts discharged in bankruptcy in May 2007. They told her to wait until Sept 2007 to file. I accompanied her to a follow-up meeting in July 2007. The partner (Chris Keifer) told us that, notwithstanding the advice they had already provided her, she could look for an attorney elsewhere. He was rude, arrogant, and was not at all apologetic for giving misleading legal advice for several months. When I asked why the about-face, he said, "we don't represent people like you." By "people like you," I took him to mean "people who ask questions" and "people with some money" (turned out my salary and perfect credit score prohibited a bankruptcy filing).

So, if you're destitute, helpless, and don't care about being taken advantage of or spoken down to by your lawyer, then this is the firm for you. If, however, you want quality legal services, go somewhere else
