Chuck Cooper - State Farm Insurance Agent

My family has been State Farm customers my entire life. I, personally, have had State Farm home and auto coverage for approximately 30 years. When my long-time agent retired, I moved my policies to Chuck Cooper' State Farm in Magee, MS. Shortly after, he called me to sell me more coverage. That is the only conversation he has ever had with me. Recently, I was hit by a deer at night. The vehicle had to be towed and by the time we got home, it was late so I did not call Mr. Cooper as I was trying to be polite and not wake him. The next morning, I called the "local" number on my insurance card only to get a person in Georgia who knows absolutely nothing about the area where we live. The entire ordeal became an absolute nightmare. Thankfully, a friend recommended a body shop nearby that did a fantastic job and their employees were wonderful. It took almost three weeks to get my vehicle repaired. As for Chuck Cooper and his office, I never heard a word from them. Not one time in three weeks did anyone at that office contact me. I expect my local agent to help me if and when I have a claim. I'd rather not have a claim but I feel like I pay for that local agent's assistance when I need it. I did not receive any assistance from this office at all. Customer Service does not exist at this State Farm location. Take your business and your hard-earned money elsewhere. I would prefer to give this business NO STAR but that was not an option.
