DO NOT USE this company
Allisons relocations does not deliver as promised - they collect payment in full up front before they ship and your goods will sit for weeks until you call - excuses range from time of year shipped to payment not processing in time. Their office staff has problems with paperwork and payment processing and the company will not deliver in the time promised. With payment up front, Allisons has no urgency to get your goods to you in the time promised...they've been paid already so...

I can only given them the highest marks possible. We have just completed a 15000 pound move from Eagle River, Alaska to Avondale, AZ. That is a journey over 4500 miles. We have a 45ft container fully packed. The service that we received had been nothing short of outstanding from the first meeting with Alison back in January. She provided timely, accurate professionally prepared estimates, for not only the cost of pacing, shipping, and insurance but also travel times for both land and sea transport. The people that Alison's employees are of the highest caliber, this starts with the receptionist, through to office manager to packers. The value of our move was in the $200,00 range. The welfare and safety of our goods was if it was their own. As you can imagine after 13 years in Alaska we had accumulated quite an assortment of items, each and every item was treated as a precious and unique memory should be. Our song's 65 pound King Salmon mount was packing in a wooden crate, my wife's grandfather clock also was shown the respect a delicate time piece should. Using a container for this move was by far the smartest decision we have ever made in moving. If I were to make another move from Alaska, Alison's would be our only mover.

I would like to pass along my sincere thanks for making our final move in the Air Force one of the BEST we've had in our 25+ year career. As you can imagine, moving as well as retiring can be very stressful especially at the same time! Not to mention, moving your home while your spouse has already relocated to the lower 48!\t\n\t\nHowever, your team was very professional, courteous, and ensured our household items were treated with care. Our crew of packers were the best! \t\n\t\nHaving our home packed and moved from Alaska to Arizona via ground transport, I planned that a few items would break (that's just what the norm was) Well, I can report having received delievery this past Tuesday and spending the last few days unpacking all the ""breakables"" we have NO damage!\t\n\t\nYour driver and crew that unloaded in Arizona were equally as professional as your crew in Anchorage. I was very impressed with their professionalism and the care they took unloading and positioning/ reassembling our items.\t\n\t\nSo in closing, I want to say THANK YOU for the OUTSTANDING service your company has provided! I would certainly recommend your company to anyone who asks! I'd also ask that you share this with your counterparts as well! Thank you for a professional moving experience.
