good service, but expensive
Travis arrived promptly, was friendly and professional. My natural gas pipe was corroded and leaking. He was knowledgeable and offered several alternatives for the fix.\t\n\t\nHis estimate for the fix was 3 hours. He was done in half that time, but still insisted on being paid for 3 hours work. \t\n\t\nQuality of work seems to be good, but I feel a bit ripped off.
take advice cautiously
I don't trust his advice. My landlady ( I rent a room ) often used this service and I didn't pay much attention. I had need of a plumber while my landlady was gone and I feel I got ripped.\t\n\t\nThis plumber has rootered the sewage pipes for roots several times but it turns out it was just a bad toilet. I don't thing the pipes ever needed rooting. The plumber suggested a $500 toilet. I got one from Lowes and he charged $200 to install ( my fault, I did not ask for a price before hand. I assumed it would be fair. ) .\t\n\t\nHe also installed a garbage disposal -- $170. I'm kicking myself. I called him because I didn't have my tools with me. I could have bought new tools for $35.\t\n\t\nPreviously, The plumber installed a new shower selling the landlady the hardware telling her the 'Home Deport sold factory seconds'. \t\n\t\nHis work is good but compare prices first and take his advice with caution.
