My youth group rented 4 cabins from A & W Rentals in January 2011. The area had several inches of snow that week, which is great for skiing, not so much for travel conditions. We called several times before leaving to make sure we could get to the rented locations in our chartered bus and were assured over and over that it was not a problem. On the night of arrival, our bus driver realizes he can not make it into the neighborhood. Our men on the bus took flashlights to try to locate the property so we could walk to the cabins, it was 8 degrees by the way. The Ski Beech Police Department stopped with us. We called the property manager to explain we could not get in and she continued to argue that we could. Kudos to the police department! They shuttled the kids in themselves.
