A Diamond in the Ruff

We feel very lucky to own the most adorable and EXTREMELY energetic golden retriever named Sophie. Before Sophie attended daycare at a Diamond in the Ruff we would arrive home from work to find Sophie ready to play into the wee hours of the morning, now Sophie is able to exert her energy with her canine friends! In the mornings all I have to say is “Sophie are you ready to see Matt!?” and she comes running down the stairs and sits by her leash. Matt (our daycare provider) has truly made Sophie’s daycare experience a blast, even providing Sophie with her favorite toys. He greets us every morning with a personal story about Sophie from the previous day and you can just sense how much he respects and cares for her. Stacy greets us with a smile in the afternoon and is always willing to answer any questions we may have.

I feel grateful to have found a place that loves and respects such an important member of our family. Thanks for making a great home away from home for Sophie!

My dog Molly has been attending doggie day care at A Diamond in the Ruff since they opened. She loves it there and comes home tired from a fun day of play! What has made her time there so special to her is Matt, the day care giver. He has an animal magnitism. She just adores him! He also cares for her on the side too if I'm gone. She is so excited when I drop her off in the morning and she sees Matt. I hightly recomment them for doggie day care. Stacy is there with a smile when I pick Molly up. You can tell the care givers truly love the animals.

After having a bad experience at a daycare literally right down the street, A Diamond in the Ruff has completely won us over!

It is obvious that each and every employee sincerely cares about all of the dogs and truly enjoys working with them. They even go above and beyond to make the dogs and parents happy:

- At Halloween they sent our dog home with a pumpkin cut-out with our dogs picture on it
- At Thanksgiving they sent our dog home with a paw-print turkey to hang on the fridge
- For Christmas our dog got a treat bag and an ornament made with his paw-print

In particular, Matt has really shined. He not only makes sure we know everything that goes on with our dog but it's obvious in the way that he interacts with our dog that they truly have bonded. Matt is an extremely warm person. We couldn't ask for more than that with someone who is taking care of our furry family member.
