I called Avis in Beckley a month before my trip.I reserved a 6 passenger suv.The day came to go on our trip and my wife went to go get the suv about 3 o clock.We was leaving at 10 that night.When she got out to Avis they ran a credit check and said our credit was too bad.My credit is not great but its not awful either.Offered to pay cash and was told no.I didn't have enough room for everybody on my trip and it was too late to go with another rental company.They really put me in a bind.After being told not to worry and they had me the suv they would not rent to me.My advice is not to rent here.I would like to add that they are a bunch of snobs who really didn't care ...read more
