People's State Bank is refusing to give my family our tax refund, and insisting on returning it to the IRS, because we were not notified that the acct. our refund was to be deposited in, was closed as of Sept. However, they allowed me to make a deposit into that same acct. on Feb. 7, of this year. They took our $ with no mention of it's status. When confronted with their error..the Weston branch manager preceeded to try and convince me that I spoke with one of their tellers in Feb, and begged her to do me a favor and accept my deposit! This NEVER HAPPENED! She is merely trying to cover up their mistake..nice. So now the refund that we are expecting this friday, will be returned to the IRS..even though we have several other accts. in their bank, including our morgage! And my family will have to wait an additional 6-12 weeks for the IRS to mail us a paper check for our refund! Customer service is obviously not high on this establishment's priority list..nor is telling the truth! ...read more
