Evergreen Memorial Gardens
By SamanthaBrainard February 07, 2014
For 15 days we didn't know where our mother was moved to the day she passed. Yes the same day. We never even got a chance to veiw her because they wanted us to wait 5 to 6 days. Would you want to see your loved one 5 to 6 days after they have been in a cooler? We wanted her just the way she was when she passed and that was an impossible task for Evergreen Memorial Gardens. They sent her to Portland Mortuary Sevices in Portland ( they called this their sister facility ). Their owner Craig Collins has had complaints against him for his employees taking pictures of the dead and posting them on line!! What kind of business are you doing EMG? It took 15 days to get back her ashes and the industry time is 3 to 4 days. We don't know where she was cremated or when. Dates on the death certificate are different than the box of ashes. We filed a complaint with Wa. State DOL and Better Business. We have even started a lawsuit for not allowing us to see our mother after she died. No one should ever have to deal with a company like this when dealing with such a difficult time in peoples lifes!! I am outraged as you can see why!! ...read more

When it's time to say good-bye to your precious pet...
Any Veterinary Clinic can offer you a cremation service... Offering cremation and offering ON-Site cremation are two very different things. Having an On-Site facility is just another way we guarantee your precious pet is treated with dignity and compassion. "Your beloved pet never leaves our care" The after life care of your pet is your final act of love. You now must choose who, when, where and how the act of final disposition is conducted. With Peaceful Paws you may take comfort in knowing that the after life care of your pet is taken seriously and compassionately. We treat each pet as if they were our own. We will never forget that someone loves them. It is your choice where your pet goes for final disposition. If you are in the Clark County area and your veterinary clinic is not routinely using Peaceful Paws for the cremation of your precious friend, then your pet is being picked up twice a week and mass transported to Portland or up to the Aberdeen area. With Peaceful Paws we are most always at the clinic within the hour of need. Your pet is normally returned to you within a day or two. ...read more
