I'm surprised to see negative comments. Joe did a rebuild for me over a year ago. I know vintage parts aren't always easy to find so you don't rush a vintage job. They called when they needed authorization to order parts and when it was done. It's still running great! ...read more

I just purchased a used Vespa and it was in need of a tune-up/ to get checked out for work needed (I didn?t have the time nor space to work on it myself). Upon contacting them they were very friendly on the phone and explained they were going through a transition so they couldn?t make an appt for 5 wks, but if I was willing to drop off my scooter and leave it they could try to get to it sooner (this was fine because I was going out of town for a couple wks). I made the appt & I was told it wouldn?t take more than an hr of actual work since my scooter was already running fine and it just needed a tune up and to get checked out (nothing major). I returned to town and contacted them to check on the status, no response. After calling several times over 5 days, leaving msgs with no response, I finally reached someone on the phone. They explained they were backed up and they hadn?t started yet but they would have it done by the date I had made an appt (a week away). They're nice about it so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Sat arrived (my appt) and I did not receive any contact from them. I had to wait until Tues to call them (when their office was open). Tues, I called them, no answer, left msg. No call back. This went on for another 2 wks! After getting no response and having had my bike for over 7 weeks I decided to call them to let them know I would be picking up my bike (on a certain day/time at the end of the week). When I went to the store they said they were 'just working on it'. They asked me to come back in an hour. I told them to forget it but they said it was already apart. I came back an hr later and it looked as though they had thrown it together. I went to pay for the work and they double-charged me what they had quoted me saying it needed some 'extra cleaning'. I rode it home but as soon as I tried to restart it didn?t work (idle was set too low and the exhaust was sputtering oil). It hasn?t been working since. Stay away- bad business! ...read more
