Stored some christmas stuff and things that I just didn't have room for anymore. The girls in the office were so nice and flexible, and made my storage experience so easy, that I just had to write a review! Tis the season for cleaning, moving, and de-cluttering! Here's a few tips to help durring this busy time of year!When storing goods in your home, garage, sheds or storage unit,*Keep a list of items put into storage as well as pictures and descriptions*Leave small air spaces between your goods and the walls*Cover your mattresses, chairs, and sofas to keep them clean*Wax your wood furniture before you store it*Store your clothing upright in a Wardrobe box*Empty gas or other combustibles from ATV's, lawn equipment, or other motorized items*Oil your bikes and tools to keep them from rusting*Mark "Fragile" on all boxes holding breakable goods and keep them on top of other boxes*Keep your boxes packed to 30 lbs or less to prevent box breakage*Pack your books flat, alternating bindings so they will stack evenly*Pictures and mirrors should be stored upright, never laid down flat*Dishes and glasses should be wrapped in paper or bubble wrap*Lable every box and what's stored in it - don't assume you'll remember or that others will know!Deer Park Storage Solutions offers small, medium and large boxes, wardrobe boxes, matress and furniture covers, packing tape, DampRid products, bubble wrap and more for purchase in our office!
