Well, another year has come and there are lots of things that the year will bring to The Pour House. Coming this year: clay classes, works in glass, new techniques using products produced by Duncan, Doc Holliday and Mayco. We will also have classes in Fabric Painting and One Stroke Painting. We still produce lots of bisque items to paint and will be introducing more as the year goes by. The Pour House, a traditional/contemporary ceramic shop, has all the ceramicsupplies that one would need. We offer greenware, by order; bisque, paintingmediums - Duncan and Doc Holliday products; brushes; firing and much moreto complete any ceramic or clay project that you may have in mind.Our hours are Tuesday and Thursday - 1 to 9pm; Wednesday - 12:30 to 5pm;Friday - 9 to 5; and Saturday - 9 to 3. We have open workshops on Tuesdayand Thursday 7-9. There is a $2.00 studio fee and one must purchase theirown supplies plus whatever piece they might want to work on. If a personalready has supplies, feel free to bring them to the workshop. Everone iswelcome to come in and paint any time that the shop is open.I am a Tri-Chem instructor (fabric painting) which is also available at The PourHouse. If you are interested in fabric painting, please give me a call. Thereare transfers, stencils, and stamps available.The Pour House also has a One-Stroke painting class on the 4th Sunday ofthe month from 1:30-3:30. If you are interested in One-Stroke painting, wehave a One-Stroke certified instructor who teaches the painting process. Itis easy and fun! The One-Stroke painting class fee is $15.00.
