I have used this salon for many years. My husband also uses it. We use Linda. She's fantastic an very professional. Extremely happy on all occasions except one. Which was not her fault. I went in for a simple mens hair cut, they were moderately busy and the woman who cut my hair decided it would be in her best interest to rush through my haircut as fast as possible to get to the next customer so she could make the most money. She ran her clippers through my hair so fast it was pulling half of it out. By the end I just wanted to get out of there but when I got home I found out she had MISSED an entire section of my sideburns so i had a very noticable patch of hair next to my ear! Also she hadn't cut the top of my head evenly so the right side was longer the the left. Omar is the greatest! I usually go in once a month for long layers on my long hair, and I never have to fear that too much would be taken off. The stylists actually listens to you and your "hairstory" and then explains as he goes. I leave with a very manageable style that can be recreated at home and not once am I ever treated like I don't know what I want. The front desk is very friendly and helpful but then you are left to your devices. I definitely recommend that you run and not walk to this very reasonably priced ($25 for a cut on long hair, no blow dry or blow dry for $5 more). Marissa does my color and I'm happier with it than I've ever been. Anthony recently did a Brazilian Keratin treatment on my naturally frizzy course hair and I am in HEAVEN. I was there on Saturday and Anthony highlighted and cut my hair. I hadn't had a style in years and was looking for a style of my own. I have never been so thrilled with my hair. Anthony came up with a style that suits me perfectly. I drove from Cypress to Baytown and it was well worth it. Uruku Salon definately adds a touch of class to Baytown. I love Anthony! He is amazing and the best hair styliest I've been to. Half of the office I work at goes to him and we all love him. He does a fantastic job and I wouldn't dream of going to anyone else. Keep up the great work!! About a week ago I got a rinse on my hair, and my daughter Torie convinced me to do something different. I wasn't up for it too much I like my hair plain. But I said why not... I got some cream soda highlights. And they are pretty they bring out my skin tone so much. If any one does like color, or something new I do recommend Torie.Not b/c she is my daughter but Because anyone out there can honestly tell you how amazing she is.
