Caryville is a town located in the northern region of Tennessee. It is in Campbell County, an area known for its scenic mountain vistas and popular state parks. As of the 2000 census, its population was 2,243. Major attractions include Cove Lake State Park and the nearby Indian Mountain State Park. I almost always stay at a Super 8 but me and my family were driving down to Florida and we decided to stay at the super 8 in Caryville. It was awful. The person at the front desk was rude and the rooms were dusty and it looked used. When we went back to tell the person at the front desk he would cooperate and change the room and he would even give us a refund. so we left and went across the road to a Budget Host not high as the Super 8 but the person at the front desk was a lot friendlier and the rooms were a lot cleaner. I talked to these guys on 1-12-11, wifes car in a ditch while I was out of town. They told me they would be there in 30 min. Tallked to my wife couple hours later. She said they called and could not get there in the tow truck they had and had to go back for another( road had been plowed, chipped and other cars have been on this road but their truck would not make it for some reason). They did not call my wife back, she called them and they said it would be 10:00 the next morning before they could get out there. I called from another state and they told me the same thing. These folks advertise 24 hour towing!! They did not have the decency to call my wife to tell her they were not going to be back!! What the heck kind of tow trunk are they using that they can't go down a road that other traffic is moing on. If they get the car (we'll see) I will never use them again and will advise others not to. Is this anyway to run a business? Would you like to be treated this way!! ...read more
