I have not been to Paris in years but walking into Mignonette was like stepping into one of those incredible shops in Europe. Everything was beautiful and I swear it sparkled. The lingerie and perfumes were to die for. Plus they helped me select a gift and wrapped it and the person I gave gift to was thrilled. I love this store! ...read more

I was in Providence recently and was lucky to stumble upon this gem. When I went inside was warmly greeted by the lovely ladies who work there. I was introduced to three perfume lines I have never heard of before. The beauty was I did not spend a dime and I had a wonderful experience sampling perfume, chocolate, and talking at length with the owner. When I left they gave me a goody bag of samples and thanked me for stopping by! One negative---while there rude college kids came in with open cups of coffee while talking/texting on cell phones-I watched as the ladies asked if they could please leave coffees on the counter--lots of eye rolling! Then the ladies requested please no cell phones. Again eye rolling some of the kids sighed loudly-one stomped out. I mention this because there is a sign on the door asking customers to refrain from bring coffee in and not using cell phones. I was appalled at the lack of consideration and manners of these well heeled kids. ...read more

One of the most unique shops I have ever seen, and quite a treasure in Providence, RI. The woman who owns the shop is incredibly helpful and wraps each gift with colorful paper, tissue and ribbons, and you can't help but smile as you walk out with your purchase. There is SO much to choose from, every perfume, lotion, lip gloss, dress, jewelry piece, and trinket is very individual and elegant, and is the perfect place to find a gift or to simply indulge.
