My daughter was a c section and Doctor Mencia was as good as his word, bikini worthy :) When he turned up at the hospital the day after wearing a flower shirt and shorts I was confused but he explained It was Fathers day (and his day off) but he wanted to check on me before the BBQ :) I found him very caring and considerate and continued to use him for 21 years:) ...read more

I've found Pedro Mencia as very qualified doctor to operate, he did my cesarean section. But as a person he is very demanding and I think you could even call him rude. His office is not much better. My c-section was before the holidays and I was told to make an appointment to take the pins out right after I leave the hospital which I did. I got an appointment two weeks after giving birth. Dr Mencia was upset that I did not get an appointment earlier and wanted to know who I talked to while making an appointment. According to him I got too much scar tissue because because those pins where on so long. Well, I am the one suffering, right. How was I supposed to know, I made the appointment right after getting out of the hospital and that was the earliest time they could give me.
