Who can tell better that the weather is warming up than someone running a store and staring at a window day in and day out? Our business is no longer without a pulse, our new regulars show up with smiles side to side, and an odd influx of random appearances make the day more and more interesting. An adorable couple of sisters selling pretzels to help their parents pay for summer camp were kind enough to let me take my pick and also gave me the secrete recipe to their soon to be "booming business", yeap! chocolate sells itself but pair it with a good cause and you just can't say no...am I right? Sometimes I just think this store is one cheesy Disney song from becoming an adorable cliche, a pair of friends lost in looking for directions, an expecting mother picking up a monitor that one day will display the pictures of their adorable family, my tough on the outside but sweet on the inside neighbors...What can I say the town waking up to the nice weather puts me in the best mood ever! So I was thinking to myself just now, there have been many people that just walked in the store because they peeked in and there was someone that seemed very approachable and happy running it...then why is it that there are so many stores where people just seem so serious? I say leave the long faces at the DMV! Focus on smiling! If you do it long enough I am sure there is a study somewhere that will show that your state of mind will catch up with you in no time.
