Regardless of the fact that when we went my son was the only one in class for 2 of the 4 classes he attended (defeating the purpose of having him around other kids his age) there was a bigger problem for us...The way I understood it is that we paid the one time “membership” fee and then the enrollment fee for each 4 week course. I did not however realize that the enrollment fee was an ongoing monthly charge that had to be cancelled if we did not want to take another 4 week class. After our first 4 week class and its disappointment, we decided not to take anymore classes. Two months went by before we realized there were charges on our card from Gymboree. The owner would not refund our money. Regardless of whether it is our fault for not looking into their policies or their fault for not supplying us with a clear cancellation policy; it should have been understood that they took our money for a service we did not use and therefore the money should have been returned.
