I brought my kitten, Franny, to Dr. Onishi for her first visit to the Vet since I adopted her from the Humane Society a week ago. The staff was very welcoming, and I could tell that they genuinely love and respect the pets that they treat. Dr. Onishi was incredibly thorough. He and his Vet Tech kept Franny very calm during her check up. The facility is humble compared to some other hospitals I checked out, but please don't let that deter you from giving them your business. Dr. Onishi is very caring and highly knowledgeble. He doesn't rush to go onto the next client, he takes care to ask lots of questions to determine an accurate diagnosis. He really cares about the pet's health and well being and the staff is great. Don't be fooled by the look of their little office on Canyon road. They know their stuff and are honest, not trying to sell you meds your pet doesn't need or other unessary expenses. They also offer happy visits when business is slow for you to bring your pet just to get treats so that he or she won't be so frightened when the next visit comes around! ...read more
