About Broken Arrow, OK
Broken Arrow is the largest suburb of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Though Broken Arrow was originally an agricultural community, its current economy is diverse. The city has the third largest concentration of industries in the state. Major attractions include Broken Arrow Historical Museum and Blue Bell Creameries. The City and Broken Arrow Arts and Humanities Council annually sponsor a Tuesday Concert in the Park series during June. It's also in July that the annual baseball and softball national tournaments begin action. Among the biggest companies in Broken Arrow are Blue Bell Creameries, and FlightSafety International. While Broken Arrow Public Schools serve most of the community, much of the western portion of the city is part of the Union Public Schools district -- also one of the state's biggest and best. One of the best places to visit when you are in Broken Arrow is Safari's Animal Sanctuary. Famous persons from Broken Arrow include Bill Hader, actor and current SNL member, and Danny Cahill, Winner of The Biggest Loser, Season 8.
