Tanpro is a very large, clean and affordable tanning salon! They sell packages and lotions that will fit anyone's budget. The staff is always friendly and very helpful with picking out packages, lotions, tanning times, etc. I got my entire family and many of my friends to sign up as well. They are a little pricey and the cheaper options are for totally outdated dinosaur beds so you really have to at least get the next one up. Also I have to bring my own wipes since the workers than clean the bed can be a little too quick for comfort! LOL. But the staff is VERY nice and they do a great job, efficient and know all about different tanning questions like lotions and the different bulbs in the beds and everything. I have been to about 90% of tanning salons and now I just go to Tan Pro since it's the best I've ever found! I recommend Tan Pro to everybody I know that tans or wants to start tanning. The N State St, Westerville Tan Pro is conveniently located near a large grocery store, UPS store, a drugstore, and restaurants. You can stop between errands rather than going out of your way specifically to tan. The staff is generally very friendly and willing to help you with picking out a plan, bed, lotion, or any other questions. The salon is clean and modern. The most popular bed is called the Ultra and it is the middle level of three. There are also a couple of high end beds that offer aroma therapy, air conditioning, and other bells and whistles. The lower end beds don't have facial bulbs. These beds are what I used over a decade ago and I can't believe they are offered here. The Ultras themselves are dated and aren't what I'd consider an upgrade. During peak hours (late afternoon, early evening) I've had to wait for a bed many times as they were all occupied. They'ree usually pretty quick to get you in, but I did have one experience where others who came in after me were given an available bed and I was forgotten. I ended up waiting about 30 minutes, which is much longer than my tanning session! The rooms are adequate in space, but lack a full length (or any) mirror. There is a shelf, goggles, a speaker and a rubber/foam pillow for your head. However, there's no headphone jack for your own headphones and you cannot adjust stations. It also becomes inaudible once the bed turns on. I bring my ipod when I remember, but it is something I miss and have had at other higher-end tanning salons. Employees are always in uniform, professional, and curiously but notably attractive. They are constantly cleaning beds, but I wish there was extra cleaner spray bottles offered in each booth so that I have the option to wipe down anything questionable.
