Don’t waste your hard earned money with the big box store “geeks,” support your local pc repair service and get better quality care while doing it, by using Dan at Dang This Computer! I’ve used Dang This Computer! twice now, the first time, what I thought was going to be a major repair, turned out to be very minor and Dan went ahead and told me how I could remedy the issue myself for next time. You can’t get classy service like that anywhere else. He’s not going to charge you an arm and a leg, and he’s not going to gouge you even more by trying to sell you a bunch of unnecessary additions. CompuRecovery had an office in California when I first sent them my hard drive. They were very quick and responsive. I had email replies within 2 minutes of sending them questions. Very cool. You don't see that often anymore. Anyway, my data had already been around the state to other companies who wanted WAY too much. I sent it to these guys, they were careful with my already opened, possibly corrupt drive, and still managed to pull my family photos and much needed tax info from the drive. thanks again and I am now backing up everything, but if i ever need help i'll call you guys. ...read more

I called about a quote, and when I said I was a small business owner in Parma, they told me they'd give me a discount if I did the recovery with them. A week later I had a quote, and we negotiated on the price and then Stephanie (the representative I worked with) immediately knocked off $100 because I was a local customer who owned my own business Awesome service, pretty fast processing.
