Though technically, Dean Martin gew up in nearby Stubenville, Ohio it is here in East Liverpool that Dean's legacy lives on in its truest sense. The small Bistro is in a word - Stunning... The portion sizes are enormous and the dinner crowd is a veritibale who's who of midwesterns sports stars and entertainers. The night I was there, Dennis Miller was there with a table full of his friends enjoying both the food and top shelf scene. This must be on anyone's bucket list of things they do before.... One feels as if they are in the midst of the Rat Pack and Dean Martin's finest days. The owner, William G. Bartolvich, will greet you and even spend some time conversing with you, no matter whom you are or are with. He may even give you a choice table on a crowded Friday night if you can find his funny bone, or can recite lines from any of Jack Nicholson's films.
