I joined ILKB-Great Neck in order to lose weight and strengthen up post-chemo. I was scared at first because I wasn't sure if I could handle it, but the instructors at Great Neck are so encouraging and make sure you get in a great work out. They make working out fun! Even with a full class, they come around and help you better your technique. I've been going for about three months now and not only have I lost weight and toned up, I'm also getting stronger and more energized. It’s not hard to keep up with your favorite celebrities these days. Thanks to Twitter and celebrity news sites like TMZ, you can pretty much follow the stars around as they live the life of the rich and famous. Well, take a look at the state of medical marijuana in the United States. Around 20 state legislatures passed law to approve marijuana for medical purposes, while 13 states have decriminalized marijuana. This means that having under a certain amount for personal use is akin to getting a parking ticket. Washington and Colorado are the two states who have taken the issue further than the rest, with voters approving a referendum which legalized the drug all together. Under federal law, marijuana is very much illegal, so it’s like Washington and Colorado are a test run to see how legalization might play out. Pro-pot advocates claim that putting people in jail for possessing a plant is costing way more money than it’s worth. Those against marijuana say the drug is a gateway drug which opens the door to more dangerous and addictive drugs like heroin and cocaine.Miley Cyrus may not need a stint in rehab to curb her drug and alcohol use, well not yet anyway.
