I was walking along austin street i just moved into the area from brooklyn. I needed a new hairstylist and i decided to give her a shot and i was not dissapionted first off Niquel greeted me and made me feel welcome and her staff took excellent care of me. the service i got was strand by strand and it came out excellent and she even had 100% remy hair for sale in her shop which really had me excited. I went to this salon because I was new to the area, not knowing any better. I was having a birthday party that night and decided to get my hair done. I told the guy with the accent who is kind of chubby and had stinky breath what i wanted to do. All I wanted to do was and up do pony tail with a little poof on top and my bangs to the side. He starts cutting my hair. So I tell him ""I didn't ask for a hair cut I wanted an up do"". He says ""trust me you have to cut your hair if you want to do this style"". Me being already late for my party.. still says no "" I do not want a hair cut just an up do"" We go back and forth for a while. Reluctantly giving in due to time factor. I let him finish. When he was done, the ""up do"" that I asked was sooooooooo not what i got. My hair looked like hell. I could have done a better job. Now really really upset. I go to pay and he charges me $140.00!! I could not believe this guy. Then he tells me its so expensive because of the hair cut. The hair cut i didn't want in the first place. This man is a theif ... please do not go to this salon.
