Dancing here at Arthur Murray has not only improved my posture but it also built up my confidence. I can't wait to get through the day just to come to dance. And when I'm here I never want to leave and always want to learn more. I've been line dancing for years and I was recently told that I was always a good dancer, but how much better I have gotten. \t\nThanks for everything so far! ...read more

Celebrating Spring with Belly Dance!

I love when spring finally arrives in Buffalo! I love it more when I can throw open the windows of the studio and belly dance with my awsome students at Oasis Dance Center! The sunshine coming through the windows and the wonderful sounds of arab music and laughter from my students as they have fun learning is very inspiring! I have women and teens from all walks of life. They all have busy busy lives, families, jobs, school, you name it! But for an hour a week they put all that aside and take an hour to have some serious belly dance fun! Right now students are getting ready for our "Wine and Chocolate , the perfect pairing with belly dance Party!" to be held in June. These everyday women will entertain family, friends, and other dance students and show off all the fabulous moves they've learned during the winter months. A great way to celebrate spring. Those who choose not to perform will come and cheer on their fellow students and enjoy the show. No matter the season I love teaching and performing belly dance but come spring everyone seems to have lots of extra energy and the belly dance is fantastic! For those who have always wondered if belly dance might be a fun thing to learn new beginner classes are offered in a new Belly Dance Jump Start Class at Oasis Dance Center. http://www.oasisdanecenter.com has info about the studio and the new class. feel like a new start this spring? Try belly dance! Faaria ...read more
