San German Records has been in this Bklyn neighborhood forever! I personally have purchased music and instruments from the business many times throughout the years. The area is rich in Puerto Rican Culture, taste, and sound. I cannot understand why anyone would move into a commercial area and expect to have complete silence. Did you not do your homework before moving into the area? No disrespect, perhaps Manhattan would suit you best. I don't know how much rent you are paying, but I assume you found it to be reasonably priced. Therefore, in P.R. there is a saying "Lo barato sale caro." Translation: "Cheap stuff can be expensive." If it's peace and tranquility you desire, don't move to a place where you are not familiar with the culture bc you will most certainly clash unless you chose to immerse yourself in the culture. Remember, you are the outsider, so be respectful to those who have been there before you. The authorities have more important things to deal with than your petty noise complaint. ...read more
