And when I left a review here, they had it delete. They made vanilla instead of chocolate. And then they forgot my cake topper. Then they tried to tell me they made a chocolate cake... It's a wedding. There were quite a few pictures. Then they tried to tell me they just made the top tier that we cut into vanilla. I've been going to Mona Alyssa for years now and I love it. It is a cozy BYOB and the waiters and waitresses are very attentive/nice. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. It is a definite "stop" for lunch or dinner. ...read more

I had called and spoke to someone about making a surfboard cake. I was told on the phone no problem, come in and speak to the baker. The quoted me a price of $65.00. A few days later when I arrived at the bakery they told me They had no idea who I spoke with and they wouldn't be able to make it, also I shouldn't have been quoted a price. Everyone behind the counter was looking at me like I had 3 heads. I have never seen so much confusion over a cake.
