About Merrimack, NH
Merrimack is a part of the southern region of New Hampshire and is located in Hillsborough County, the most populous region in the state. Major attractions include the Old Dunstable and the McClue/Hilton House. Each year on the 4th of July there is a parade and celebration culminating in fireworks. Among the biggest companies in Merrimack is Anheuser-Busch, which operates a brewery open to tours, as well as one of the five stables for Budweiser Clydesdales. The biggest schools here are Merrimack High School and the Academy For Science And Design. One of the best places to visit when you are in Merrimack is the historical Schoolhouse #12, which houses many of the town's artifacts. Famous persons from Merrimack include Matthew Thornton, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence.
