I never knew Doug, but I have been doing business with his descendant, Leeland, for many years now. For the most part repairs are done fairly quickly, at reasonable prices. This is one of the few guys left ANYWHERE that runs an old style service station that actually knows what they are doing. Moldy food? What food? He's never had anything but candy bars and soda for sale there as long as I've gone there, which has been for at least twelve years, probably longer. Awful must be talking about the wrong station, or smoking dope. Come to think of it, it's probably the latter. Who else works in a place long enough to know that much and can't remember where it is? 11/24/10 maybe ought to consider that his/her clock may have been running a bit fast, and that opening for business isn't always just as simple as flipping a switch. Said person will be ecstatic to know Doug's Sunoco is now strictly a service station, and no longer sells gas. ...read more
