I finally picked up my vehicle. It was a huge repair...$1985! But I have to say that, so far, I think that Chaney did a good job. They also were very nice. When I came to pick up...my debit card wouldn't do more than $1000.00 in a day, and they actually offered to take me to the bank to pick up the cash and bring me back! (I was a weepy mess at the time). As a former Area Service Manager for General Manager, I believe that the price charged was fair, and the work seems to be well done.
Will so change this if I get my vehicle back by Friday. I am a former area service manager for GM. Can't understand why it's taken so long for my repair to come back from the machinist. I'm told that once the heads come back it will just take a day....cool...but when will these guys have my heads back? No one calls to keep me up to date...that's unfair because nothing is happening and no one is checking so...they are right to not to call, right? Um...
So far, I understand the problems with my vehicle, but I haven't been kept up to date and there is this weird thing where, when I call I am told that as soon as the heads get back it will definitely only take a day to get my vehicle back...still...nothing back from the machine shop. Noone can say if it is repaired. Can someone call and please get an estimation of when the heads will be back?
