Mark's Professional Painting LLC

Mark gave me a quote and answered a variety of questions in a helpful way. He seemed professional and knowledgeable. I never got the chance to hire him because when I asked about the option of paying with credit card or paypal, he aggressively grabbed the quote out of my hands, said "I'm not interested in your project!" and drove off. I don't think he's someone that would take the down payment of $2,000 cash/check that he wanted up front and run. However, he was extremely rude. I can't speak to his work but I would NEVER recommend him to anyone. He was downright rude and I don't wish his behavior on anyone. ...read more

Britannia Development Company, Inc.

Well let me start by saying I was an employee of Britannia development in my personal opinion for working for them I will have to say that the most in the closet racist company I ever work for, not only they did half their jobs without licensing and permits they worked under the radar for sometime now and I don't have to guess in other states also reason why because I had the first experience of being fined for working for them at one of their locations and also being informed by the supervisors that most of the locations are without permits and Licensing and I mentioned in the closet racist because of the recent experience I had with them I work for them for almost a year I had to be the only latin descent that work for them in Central Florida and recently fired in the allegations of stealing hours when I research the hours that they claim to say I was stealing I come to find out that I did not steel hours it was just a misprint of the hours when I bring it up to Britannia development they just turned there back on me there are other employees being accused of stealing hours which as I was witness too and as we speak those employees that were stealing hours are still working for Britannia development as I type this posting that are Caucasian descent so let me end by saying thank you Britannia development for my experience of a company that only caters to their own and that I'm a strong believer in karma God bless. ...read more

He changes his name of his company and keeps on going. He will take your money and never finish the job. He doesn't even use the materials agreed upon. uses many excuses as to why he cut make it there to finish. when u take him to court and win he then files bank rupsey so he doesn't have to pay. when i called the news channel and waco did the news story he proceeded to threaten me because i had reined his livelihood he claimed. After the news story my phone began to ring off the hook from other people and companies that he had done the same thing to. he is a conman ripping people off. doing bad business. look him up on the better business bureau. also known as fence and repair company. and we brought the wood in from what he had done and it is not cedar. not a nice man. ...read more

Attic Insulation Minneapolis | Winterize Your Home | 3 Steps

Attic Insulation Minneapolis | Preparing your home for the winter If you’re a homeowner that lives in Minnesota than you should already understand the significance of winterizing your home. But some of us don’t fully understand the benefits that come with updating your attic’s insulation and attic ventilation system. This is what we do and these are the three places you should understand when researching new insulation. - See more at: http://www.stinsonservices.com/blog/attic-insulation-minneapolis-winterize-home-3-steps/#sthash.fh390kBa.dpuf Upgrade Your Attic Insulation 1. Attic Insulation – Do you have enough attic insulation? Energy companies such as Center Point Energy Rebate and Xcel Energy are asking residential homes to have 17-18 inches (R-value 50) of loose fill insulation in their attics. This amount of insulation has been proven to offer the best results for reducing energy loss. Fiberglass or cellulose insulation both offer great value to properties short on insulation. We tend to work on older properties that have 5-8 inches of insulation in their attic. This is 10-13 inches less than the recommended value by the state of Minnesota. Do you qualify for an MN energy rebate? We offer free consultations and can answer your questions about the energy rebate program! - See more at: http://www.stinsonservices.com/blog/attic-insulation-minneapolis-winterize-home-3-steps/#sthash.fh390kBa.dpuf 2. Attic Ventilation – Do you have proper ventilation in your attic? That means – intake and exhaust ports. Your attic’s ventilation is a very important component to mitigating ice dams from forming on your roof and keeping froze from building up on the inside of the roof deck. The net free area should be calculated before roofing and insulation projects to determine what ventilation (intake/exhaust) should be installed. Soffit vents should be unclogged and protected with vent chutes. Ignoring ventilation in your roof and attic system is a mistake many property owners make and some contractors. Make sure Net Free Area is calculated before installation is completed. - See more at: http://www.stinsonservices.com/blog/attic-insulation-minneapolis-winterize-home-3-steps/#sthash.fh390kBa.dpuf 3. Air Tight Sealing – Are your pipes, wires and recessed lights air sealed? Sealing the bypasses in your attic is important to keeping an air tight home. Older homes tend to allow heat escape through the attic bypasses such as recessed lighting, electrical wires, and pipes that travel through your ceiling. Spray foaming around these bypasses keeps warm air from leaking into your attic. Our crews are able to pinpoint leaking areas using diagnostic equipment such as blower doors and thermal guns on all of our projects. - See more at: http://www.stinsonservices.com/blog/attic-insulation-minneapolis-winterize-home-3-steps/#sthash.fh390kBa.dpuf ...read more
