Southfield is a suburb of Detroit and is part of the Metro Detroit area of Michigan known for the city's marque cluster of five golden skyscrapers. Several internationally-recognized corporations have major offices in Southfield, including the North American Headquarters of Denso, Peterson Spring, Federal-Mogul, Lear Corporation, and Electronic Data Systems. The biggest schools here are Lawrence Technological University, and Oakland Community College. One of the best places to visit when you are in Southfield is Park West Gallery which provides some of the finest exhibitions of art in Michigan, including displays by renowned artists, like Erte, Picasso, Miro, Dali and Rembrandt. Arts and cultural programs are available at the Millennium Centre, one of metro Detroit's premier entertainment and conference venues located in the City's Cornerstone District.
