After calling in an order I was given a price with the coupon I was trying to use. Upon getting to the store the coupon guidelines had changed. Apparently when you buy 2 pizza's you cannot use the NORMAL store price for 2 pizzas. You hsve to use the individual price then multiply it by 2. The coupon clearly stated that the coupon is not good on other deals but the price was the NORMAL 2 pizza price. Ended up costing me $5 and Benito's in Royal Oak a returning customer. DO NOT GO HERE! So with the invention of all this technology we have, all the new things we use to make life easier, I find it kind of ... perplexing that people still have superstitions. Don't get me wrong, it's fine to believe in things, religion, sports teams, politicians (haha because we all believe them...). But when it comes to bad luck, or good luck, the fanciest cell phone in the world won't help you. You can find a lucky penny, on your birthday, while wishing on a shooting star, and break a wishbone... and still get struck by lightening and die. Is that bad luck? is it fate? It's hard to say. So y'all know about Apple Computers? Possibly, right? Well in case you haven't heard, Apple is a Computer company that is located in California... But all that aside, let me tell you why we're talking about them. Their stock recently surpassed microsoft as the most valuable technology stock. Bill Gates, that rich dude from Windows, yeah Apple computers, just surpassed Windows Stock. Crazy right. Ten year ago, people wouldn't have ever thought that windows wouldn't be the top guys. Facebook and Groupon are two huge internet websites that use social media to move their products. Now see people don't really generally like the idea of having their likes and dislikes tracked and then being marketed the products that the program guesses they'd like. But now it seems as if instead of sending random advertisements, the people on facebook, on groupon, receive helpful, targeted advertisements, in which they would be interested. However, that raises the question: is it tracking demographics, or sending only useful information? I personally think, it's a little bit of both.
