Beware of the positive reviews. It appear to be so phony to me as if they were left by the shop ownership or employees themselves. I was there renting a U-Haul van recently. There was a dog roaming freely in the smelly office when I was there. And the woman there (and later a man) there were not friendly (but that could be my subjective feeling) and did not show me the bill until I asked for it. When I got the truck, the guy did not even bother clean the snow off the windshield nor did they clean the space inside. I had to clean myself and get the the truck back within the 4-hour time window. Also beware of the over-charges. They charged me $25 for an empty Target regular sized bag left inside the truck. Picked up a uhaul truck on Saturday Nov 8, The man in the front office was waiting on a woman who was there before us. She was given a set of keys for a van and a few seconds later returned saying the keys would not work. The man behind the desk became enraged and jumped up swearing while he slammed his chair across the room almost knocking down his printer he stormed out the door to the van and could not get the key to work either. This enraged him further and while being very rude to the woman also began on my daughter and me. Wow! Sometimes ya just can't win. Jeff T. Jeff T's girlfriends car was towed into the shop. She wanted us to repair her vehicle. She was to busy to deal with "it", so her boyfriend would handle it. We never recieved an assignment or any information on the claim from him or her insurance company, we were never able to even write an estimate on the vehicle, (we never got keys to the car). Now her insurance company wants to towed to a salvage yard. I know dealing with a accident can be frustrating and we repair facilities are the easy target to vent your frustrations out on, but this is just plain ridiculous.Robert AhernNorthville Collision ...read more
