I've visited the Baltimore convention center several times for work and I'm always baffled by the parking situation. $20+ for the day????\t\n\t\nLast time I went I used Parking Panda to rent out a private parking space for the day, which wound up saving me time and money. The best idea...hire a planner. "Hire a planner?", you say. Yes, hire a planner. Now for most brides budget is an issue, and a planner sounds expensive. Will it cost you something? Why, yes it will, but in the long run it can save you dollars on vendors and venues and most importantly it can save you stress. Although the economy has had many of us in a pinch for a few years now, the last place you want to cut corners is on your wedding. A good planner will work to design and coordinate a dream wedding well within your budget. Now this doesn't mean that you may not have to compromise some ideas. You can't have a $250,000 wedding on $25,000.00. However, you can have an elegant, exciting, and beautiful day to remember within you price range. From the minute you hire your planner. You should be seeing results. Signing on the dotted line means your planner is now looking out for your best interest. Discussing your vision with you, creating idea/story boards of your colors and themes, getting to know you and your future spouse in order to understand what your likes and dislikes are, and beginning to formulate a prompt book of guidelines for your big day. Once you have your choices narrowed down your planner will really go to work introducing you to venues and vendors, making arrangements for you to see at least three choices of each so that you have a diverse pool to choose from. Once you point your finger at one, she will move on to the next category. Your wedding planner should organize every decision, coordinate every contract, arrange all the details and make sure you don't miss anything.
