This studio is extremely outdated. Their ballet class offers no proper technique whatsoever. They offer "Lyrical" class which is not even a real form of dance. They need new instructors that have professional training in the past. Either a Masters in dance, or individuals who have been in professional tours or choreographed major pieces. Their choreography is very elementary and offers no chance for students to ever have a chance at persuing dance as a career. Instead of Lorrie and Lousie deciding when students should advance to the next class, students should be able to sign up for whatever class they desire. If they cannot keep up with the particular class then they can try a lower level. There is no room to advance at a faster rate. But the worst part about the studio is that they do not keep up with current dance technique. NEDC in East Longmeadow is a place that challenges their students and is taught by a woman that has trained under Martha Graham and her husband who was in numerous ballet companies (Also a professor of dance at UMASS).
