Beware of Return Policy! They will charge your credit card for the full value of the book within only a few short days after the return period is over. I would recommend not renting from this company as their customer service is horrible, phone wait times are usually 30 mins and then they practically argue with you rather than provide any assistance. In our case, the return label was printed and the box given to shipper for return. eCampus claims it was never received( how can we really prove this). You can't get the original tracking number from the website and wishing now we had made a copy of the label before sending. Not until the credit card statement was reviewed did we know that they had charged the account for the full purchase price of the books or that anything had gone wrong. They will absolutely NOT work with you for unforeseen issues such as a lost item or accept a return after a certain few number of days. This is just plain BAD business. ...read more

HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!!! I went to their website to sell a book back. It asks for the ISBN, but nothing else. So, I entered the ISBN and they were buying it back. I sent it and waited for a check, but nothing came. When I checked the status online it said rejected. I thought that was strange, so I e-mailed them to find out why. She (Jennifer) says that they are only buying the paperback version not the loose leaf and they will be happy to throw it away for me or I can pay $10 to get it back. I searched through the site for terms and conditions and I went to my page to see if it specified which format and nothing. I e-mailed again asking why I have to pay for my book when the site should specify the format. Needless to say it took a week to get a response and then it was rude. She said the site clearly states that rejected books will be destroyed and they are offering to return it at my expense as a courtesy! I searched the site again for keywords like: trash, destroy, discard, ...read more

If you are considering opening up a used bookstore you will have to go out and locate many books before you open up your store. You want to have a good selection of books on various topics so that people have plenty to choose from. Finding the books can be a challenge, but not impossible. ...read more
