My daughter had a flat tire at the Dillon’s right across the street from this repair shop. I called them and they said they could fix it right away, just bring it over. She walked over and told them she was going to put some air in it, then drive it across the street to them. The technician said "Don't worry about it, I’ll just come over and air it up and drive it over for you” she said she could do it, he said, don't worry, it is no problem. She let him, then he stood around talking to another tech for 45 minutes while she sat and waited. He fixed the nail hole in her tire and presented her with a bill for $54! $35 was for a service call. She came home in tears so I called them and they said that was because they had to go and get it. He admitted he never told her of the charge, but refused to refund it, saying she should have known. Scratched 2 of my 4 times trying to squeeze tires on that they agreed would be able to fit... (prior consultation), Said they would try to 'touch them up' but these were brand new and should have not suggested 'touching up'; horrible experience for a shop that you would have thought had professionals. I took to Big O tires and they were able to fit rims on car without one scratch. Horrible experience with Performance Tire and Wheel..I would not reccommend for fitting custom wheels. This garage might be Ok to air up your tires, but I won't trust them to work on my car again. They do not stand behind their work and you will pay another mechanic that is competent to do the job correctly. They are only interested in getting your money, not making things right with the customer. All the mechanics that work there look like they're 16. How much experience and knowledge can they have? ...read more
