For those of you on the Southside, DO NOT go to Modas Marilyn. I bought a pair of shoes there that the sole detached from the shoe. Their response: "your daughter should have been more careful." They refused to exchange or refund. The girl at the counter said that it was fine that I was not returning. Nice customer service. I asked her for the managers number and she told me that she couldn't give that out, so I asked her for the store number and she goes "she's never here and never calls anyone back, plus she's not going to do anything for you." Accenti is what boutique shopping should be- unique items, combined with a fun & personal experience. \t\nAs soon as I walked in, Steve encouraged me to try on anything I liked, and immediately made me feel very comfortable being there. I received a gift certificate for this store. When, half way through the store, I was unable to find anything within the price limit of the gift certificate, I asked for help and stated my problem. The sales person gave me a lecture about shopping at department stores and then showed me some items that were in my price range. As I was looking, he then told me he preferred to refund my gift certificate instead of me redeeming it. The other sales person told me I started the conversation inappropriately and should have asked to been shown merchandise in my price range. All of this was stated in an unkind manor. ...read more
