Howlinfish School of Guitar

I've been taking lessons for several months and Mark is a great teacher and person. He is very patient and supportive. I would definitely recommend him to anyone interested in learning to play guitar. Whether it's country or rock, he's got the skills necessary to get you to where you want to go.

I have been taking lessons with mark for almost six months now and every time that I play with him I am reminded why I love to play guitar. He clearly loves playing and is wonderful at passing on his enthusiasm to others. I have learned so much feel like I am getting visibly better through each lesson. I can tell that he really cares about turning me into the guitar player that I want to be and accomplishing all of my goals. He teaches me how to play the songs that I have always wanted to know how to play and then ties them into a whole new learning experience. Right before every lesson I wonder what I'll discover about playing guitar next. I couldn't ask for a better teacher!

My son's lessons are always well planned, and Mark has an excellent ability to communicate with him. My son has made great progress since beginning with Mark a few months ago, and looks forward to each lesson. Mark is clearly a highly skilled guitarist in his own right.

Mark at Howlin Fish is a pro. He has pro gear and a top notch home studio to teach out of. On the first day I showed up, a tentative lesson plan was already in place based on out first few e-mails and conversations. From study and scale theory to songwriting and flat out fun jamming...Mark will get you where you want to be on the guitar. He's even picked up a few live shows with me and shines on stage as well!
