This is the restaurant my family always picks when we have a night out for dinner. The food is fresh, well seasoned, and beautifully prepared. They always have a variety of seafood, meat, poultry and vegetable dishes to chose from with a variety of sauces and pastas and roasted vegetables or potatoes. The roasted vegetables with garlic and olive oil are just fantastic. The appetizers are scrumptious. When my husband and I go alone, we sometimes just have cocktails (which are also great) and the grilled scallops on a bed of baby greens with their home made dressing (excellent!), and some Clams Casino-- mmmm clams with bacon, onions, basil, white wine and butter, along with some others. And the thing that you absolutely can't get anywhere else is their freshly made bread. It brings us back every time! I have been dining at this restaurant since 1968 when I first came to Hawaii. This place has kept it's original charm and grace for all those years. It has an ambience that is unique and one of a kind. It is a place to take friends or family when it has to be memorable and has to be right. If every restaurant had a salad bar like Buzz;s they would be loved like Buzz's is. Presidents eat here as well as locals like me.
