Many people often only look to the end goal. I have found that the journies in life that we take are actually the blessings. I started my weight loss journey in June of 2006. A friend sent me a pack of shakes and pills that cost more than my monthly grocery budget. Knowing this was not something I would be able to do, I went ahead and tried it anyway, as it was a wonderful gift. Some of the Isagenix products were great, and I will continue to use them. I especially like the vitamin drink and the isa flush. Others, not so good. Drinking diet shakes, not my idea of a journey. Whoever thought of this has obviously never had a food addition. The thing about addictions...they can be changed. I am now eating real food and it is changing my views on what I actually need. The food tastes great. I am losing weight. I am not starving. I am not downing pills, shakes, supplements or anything that comes in a box. It's new and different...wait,,,no it isn't! This is how our great grandparents ate! You know, the pictures of the skinny folks in black and white? Rarely does anyone have a pictures of fat folks before the "diet revolution". Or should I say De-evolution. We went from a healthy country to one of the most obese nations in the world. Why? Because we let mass marketers, fast food joints and corporations tell us that we were eating wrong.
