Broadlawn Memorial Gardens
By Legendarymom August 17, 2012
We recently choose Broadlawn for 2 spaces and a bronze marker. We had 3 other prices including Hamilton mill only a few miles away. Broadlawn saved us over $1000.00 and we loved the spaces we choose right next to an oak. Owner was very helpful and actually told me to go get other prices! Great buy! ...read more

INTERIOR DESIGN 101
SPRUCE UP YOUR ENVIRONMENT WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK!!!! This informative article "How to decorate cheap without it looking cheap" is from "INTERIOR DESIGN 101"; a 25 part Online Interior Decorating Course. ENJOY! There are a lot of younger couples who feel they need to decorate their home so that it looks antique, modern, and beautiful. However, there are a lot of people who would like to incorporate a few things into their home, but just doesn't know how to react to the prices of the items that they would like to have. Keep in mind that you can go cheap without looking cheap. First, when it comes to the physical aspects of the home (like the painting, the wallpaper, the paneling, flooring, and such) you will want to go to some of the local hardware chains, but you will also want to go to some of the local mom and pop stores so that you can find the lowest prices. Keep in mind that remodeling and home decorating does not come cheap. If you don't want to go cheap, then you need to learn how to work with the budget, not through the budget. If you would really like to have something, but it just doesn't fit into the budget, then you need to keep decorating, but save up to get what you would like at a later date. Even if it is no longer available by the time you go back, you may be able to get something completely different, but a lot nicer. Secondly, you will need to think about the décor. The first thing that you will want to do is get a color theme. Then you will need to think about fabrics, candles, flowers, pictures, and so on. You may want to leave the color scheme alone until you see what is available for you when it comes to accessories and you will also find that there are many ways that you can mix and match colors, patterns, and items. Keep in mind that there are plenty of antique stores and discount stores that you will offer a lot of good products and items that you will want to try to incorporate into your home and their prices are at a steal. You will want to make sure that you think about all the things that you would like to incorporate and then some of the things that you can make yourself. Just by bunting some fabric in a door way or over a window can create a dramatic look, but will not harm your budget. Keep in mind that there is a lot of things that you could do to help lower the costs of your decorating bills, but use the tricks that everyone uses (mirrors, candles, and photo frames). These are all cheap items and can make any home look lovely. The point to decorating is to find a way to make the rooms seem comfortable for everyone, but not break the budget. My business offers great service. I strive for 100% customer satisfaction and will do what it takes to make the customers happy. The buck stops here so there are no rules getting in the way of my ability to get customers exactly what they need. If you have a special situation (such as delivery requirements, after-hours service, or anything else), please contact me -- I want to work with you! One example of great customer service was when I customized some pants for a client. who promptly got ink on them. She returned them with her next batch of alterations and I removed the ink stains at no charge. She was VERY pleased. Going the extra step makes a world of difference. ...read more
