Phone was answered with simply a "hullo". So I asked if this was a window company to which the guy answered yes. I explained my situation with a window problem I have and gave him some demographic information. I then asked how long he has been in business to which he informed me that he has been installing windows since 1999 or 2000. Here comes the good part, wait for it.I asked if he could provide references and he said, "for one window you want to go through all this". I said, "what"?. He said oh nothing. I asked him if he had a problem with my request and he said "no, I will give you whatever you want". I then reminded him of his first response and that perhaps something like, "of course sir, I would be happy to provide references" might have been more appropriate. That's when he said have a nice day and hung up.Clearly unprofessional from the get go. I can't speak to his workmanship but I wouldn't trust this guy to find out. ...read more
