These people shipped a 2014 Jaguar for me from Florida to Barrie Onatario. Driver loaded car and punctured 2 front tires. Signed a bill of lading and wrote on it that he punctured the tires and send a claim in. We did so in June 2014 and have sent several reminder bills, called Barb in accounting, and promised to call me back didn't. I called Allen VP operations and promised to look into it and get back to me and did not. We spoke to the people at Southern Auto Transport in regards to moving our car to our daughter in MA. We have never used a auto carrier company before and had heard many horror stories. After speaking with Dave we were very satisfied with the professionalism and knowledge that he had. They were a little more expensive then another company but we also learned the other company was a broker and not a carrier and they required a down payment. My daughter received the car in 6 days which was less then Southern Auto had told us. The driver was polite and on time and kept in touch with our daughter the whole time. Dave was able to track the truck by GPS tracking, each time we called to check on it. We would recommend Southern Auto Transport to all our friends and family, they are truly a family owned and operated professional auto carrier company with great customer service, which a lot of companies these days lack. ...read more

Snowbirds are coming back to Florida

Welcome back Snowbirds........ We have noticed a decrease in the amount of Snowbirds that come South for the Winter months over the last few years.  Based on the economy and changing times, there has been a slight decrease. In the last couple of years, many have decided to hold off or cancel their winter journey to the South, some due to financial worries and others may have been because of peer pressure from friends not going. It seems this year is showing a change for the better.  More and more snowbirds are heading South. We have seen a steady rise in the number of Snowbirds in the upcoming 2010 year and hope that it will continue to rise from here on. We have catered to Snowbirds for the last 20 years and have shipped thousands of cars to and from Florida over those years.  It is so convenient for them to be able to fly to and from their destinations and have their cars follow shortly behind or at the same time they arrive.  Takes a lot of stress of the snowbirds, knowing that their car is being safety shipped to their destination and they do not have to drive through any crazy traffic. We welcome back all the snowbirds and looking forward to golfing and eating out with them in the coming months....Have a great winter and be sure to contact us for your trip back home once the snow melts.
