Orlando Humane Society Spca of Central Florida

I have been taking my cat to the humane society medical services ever since I adopted her. It has become such a hassle trying to make an appointment I have decided to go to a neighborhood vet instead. You never get to speak to an actual person. You are instructed to leave a message and someone will return your call. I have been waiting FOUR DAYS for a return call. Luckily I on the second day I went ahead and called my neighborhood vet and after describing my cats condition was given an appointment for the next day. She is now on two antibiotics and on a mends. Had I waited for the Humane Society Medical Dept to call me back.....I would still be waiting. ...read more

Animal, Wildlife and Rodent Trapping in Florida
This time of year many of Florida's creatures are seeking shelter from the heat and rains, and where do they find it? In the attics, walls and crawlspaces of your home or business. This is a common and major problem for property owners. Left to roam, the animals can cause extensive damage to your electrical wiring, a/c ducts and roof structure. These things can lead to water damage, mold, high electric bills, and the horrible stench of animal waste. That is why we are here. We safely trap any live animals, remove them from your home and place them in a natural habitat or refuge center depending on the animal's circumstances (ie: injury, babies, pregnant, rabid). If the animals have died in the walls or attic we will search out the animal or rodent, remove it, and repair the hole we had to make. Most other companies require that you pay for the damage they cause. We also provide critter-proofing and repair services. With our extensive background in the Construction and Building Industry we are able to come up with cost effective solutions that are guaranteed to keep the critters out without causing further damage to your home. Something to keep in mind when closing up pontential entryways for critters is that some holes are meant to be in the structure of your home for drainage of water or expansion. Blocking these places incorrectly can cause water damage, buckling of your roof, or other unseen damage. Because most homeowners don't regularly inspect your attic, roof or wall spaces, you'll want to confirm that your wildlife trapper has developed a plan specifically for your home's structure and will perform quality work.
