Linky's Carpet Cleaning

I contacted this company to stretch the carpet in 2 rooms and closet upstairs. The quote seemed OK and they were all over the internet so I thought it would OK. When they arrived the carpet stretching machine was brand new still in the box. That should have been my first clue. They said the job should take 11/2 hour to complete it took them 3 hours before I had had enough. The carpet was stretched in the areas that you could see but when you look in the corners it is still very loose. When I pointed this out Eddy started making excuses and when I did not waiver on my concerns he got very upset and stormed out. He came back and then started stretching the carpet with a different tool kicking with his knee. The area he said could not be fixed he was able to do but only after arguing with me over it. My experience there was AWFUL. The owner did my hair for my wedding. She melted her green plastic clip into the underside of my hair. My new husband & I spent 2 hrs peeling it out on our wedding night. She refused to refund my money even though I only asked for half of it back (I really should have asked for all of it). I remember she was trying to comb out my hair after she had already curled and hair sprayed that bottom section where the green plastic was so she had to have known she accidentally did that. Instead of being honest, she decided to hide it & still charge me full price. My maid of honor's hair was awful too! Had to be redone! She refused to refund & said the best she could do was give me a free hair cut & blow dry. As if I'm EVER coming back! If she had just been honest with me from the beginning, I would have understood & we could have figured out how to either get it out or hide it & get it out later. I am a victim of domestic violence. Due to having my partner incarcerated, I lost my ca (one month behind). It's my own "fault...I know. But with y "safety plan" from the DV shelter, my personal documents were in my car (birth certificates, etc for myself and my son). They are charging me 50.00 to recover my items. THANKS!
